[It had been getting worse, though had become especially noticeable at the trial. But even now, after....

Hermes was a robot, apparently, or some sort of android--or perhaps simply pure code, granted this physical form for whatever reason by Zero, given that he was from a video game. She would not have assumed that he would be capable of contracting anything but a computer virus. But maybe that was what it was. Maybe the rules were different. Maybe the disease he had told her about....

Hermes had been behaving erratically, but even in his occasional violent outbursts she wasn't afraid of him, really. It was Hermes, after all. But... maybe he needed help. Maybe he'd rather not discuss it openly.

Akane didn't know what else to do.

So she had found him, and brought him to Kaito's room, where she had been mostly staying, where he had done his best to comfort her on the evening of his death, and then bit her lip.

She had to say it, if she was going to find out.]

[Akane had needed a few moments to gather her strength enough to stand again. She felt hot, like flames were licking at her from another time, so she waited on the floor where she was until Roland had gathered what he wanted before she forced herself up, stumbling slightly as she did.

A part of her wanted to cry. She hated this. She'd always hated it.]

[Her voice is small, soft and low, but she gathers the strength and after a moment of consideration takes him back to her room, then moves the chair in front of the door.

Makima would have to wait a few minutes if she wanted to come back in, but this seemed like the best place for this. Zero already seemed to know, but the rooms were supposed to be soundproof, right?

She showed him in, feeling a little awkward about inviting a boy back into her room like this, no matter what the reason and the necessity for it. There weren't many places to sit in here, so she huddled on the bed, arms wrapped around her knees, looking down at them.]

Sorry, this... I don't want to tell this to everyone. Not right now. But.... But I haven't been honest, I guess.

I told you that I got taken from another Nonary Game, but... this isn't my second game. It's... it's the third.

It was late, but that couldn't be helped, she needed him soon. Everything was cracking into pieces, and she was left cold and numb, and looks wan, half a ghost already.]

[Akane's dressing room doesn't feel quite like it belongs to someone, not really. It's a little too impersonal, sterile, set up and picture perfect and neat like it's supposed to be photographed for some showroom article in a magazine or catalog. Everything is too organized and pristine for anyone to really belong there, and there's a lonely, empty quality in the air that makes it hard to believe anyone does. There's not many of what look like they'd be personal items there; a set of clothes folded in the corner, and a glass-fronted bookcase, lined with books on many different subjects across several of the shelves, and featuring a carefully posed ball-jointed doll staring in the direction of the mirror.

The room might have been created for a ghost. June doesn't seem to notice it, as she opens the door to let Junpei in.]

You... you've never seen my room before, have you?

[She does feel suddenly a little shy, then, as she lets him through.]
