[Akane's dressing room doesn't feel quite like it belongs to someone, not really. It's a little too impersonal, sterile, set up and picture perfect and neat like it's supposed to be photographed for some showroom article in a magazine or catalog. Everything is too organized and pristine for anyone to really belong there, and there's a lonely, empty quality in the air that makes it hard to believe anyone does. There's not many of what look like they'd be personal items there; a set of clothes folded in the corner, and a glass-fronted bookcase, lined with books on many different subjects across several of the shelves, and featuring a carefully posed ball-jointed doll staring in the direction of the mirror.

The room might have been created for a ghost. June doesn't seem to notice it, as she opens the door to let Junpei in.]

You... you've never seen my room before, have you?

[She does feel suddenly a little shy, then, as she lets him through.]

Dolls! Ghosts... Well, I suppose some of them must have been artists before they died.... That seems a little different, though.

Yeah... I wonder if artist ghosts possess more things than normal ghosts. Like, if you possessed someone's hand, you could still work on your magnum opus or whatever, right?

Maybe, but if so they keep very quiet about it. There have always been artists, but the first documented case of spiritual possession - as opposed to something like demonic possession, I mean, actual possession by the spirit of someone who had died and came back - didn't take place until 1878, in Watseka, Illinois, and it wasn't anything to do with art. Maybe ghosts who are artists would rather that people who are still living work to develop their own skills, so they can create original works themselves?

I never thought about it like that. You always hear about ghosts as scary, but that's more like being a muse. What if you were a poltergeist who just threw around books and stuff as inspiration?

I don't know if I'd want to meet that kind of poltergeist, or any other ones. Poltergeists aren't very nice, after all.

Fair. I mean, I don't think I want to meet any ghosts, period. But if it's a helpful ghost, that's better than nothing.

Anyway, ah, are you feeling any better? Maybe you should lie down.

Well, there's not very much room.... All right, though. But don't keep standing up, that would be awkward.

Right! Right. Uh, okay.
